Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink die! The fibres are very soft but very short, so it is often spun together with other fibres so that it can be knitted without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand and turned into a lovely shawl, or with two strands and turned into a beautiful sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a completely unique product, which is even hand-dyed - win win......
